15 Esta é a cidade alegre e confiante, que dizia consigo mesma: ´Eu sou a única, e não há outra além de mim.` Como se tornou em desolação, em pousada de animais! Todos os que passarem por ela hão de vaiar e farão gestos de desprezo.

15 This is the city of revelry that lived in safety. She said to herself, "I am the one! And there is none besides me." What a ruin she has become, a lair for wild beasts! All who pass by her scoff and shake their fists.
