Oséias 10:8

8 Os lugares altos de Áven, que são o pecado de Israel, serão destruídos; espinhos e ervas daninhas crescerão sobre os seus altares. E o povo dirá aos montes: ´Cubram-nos!` E às colinas: ´Caiam em cima de nós!``

8 The high places of wickedness Hebrew [aven,] a reference to Beth Aven (a derogatory name for Bethel); see verse 5. will be destroyed - it is the sin of Israel. Thorns and thistles will grow up and cover their altars. Then they will say to the mountains, "Cover us!" and to the hills, "Fall on us!"
