Jeremias 40:5

5 Mas, visto que Jeremias demorava a se decidir, o capitão lhe disse: - Volte para junto de Gedalias, filho de Aicão, filho de Safã, a quem o rei da Babilônia nomeou governador das cidades de Judá, e more com ele no meio do povo. Ou, se quiser ir para qualquer outro lugar, vá. O chefe da guarda deu-lhe mantimentos e um presente e o deixou ir.

5 However, before Jeremiah turned to go, Or [Jeremiah answered] Nebuzaradan added, "Go back to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has appointed over the towns of Judah, and live with him among the people, or go anywhere else you please." Then the commander gave him provisions and a present and let him go.
