Deuteronômio 9:6

6 - Saibam, pois, que não é por causa da justiça de vocês que o Senhor, seu Deus, lhes dá esta boa terra para que tomem posse dela, pois vocês são um povo teimoso.

6 Understand, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the Lord your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stiff-necked people.
