II Reis 17:15

15 Rejeitaram os estatutos e a aliança que Deus tinha feito com os pais deles, e desprezaram as suas advertências. Seguiram os ídolos sem valor, e assim eles mesmos se tornaram sem valor. Seguiram as nações que estavam ao redor deles, das quais o Senhor lhes havia ordenado que não as imitassem.

15 They rejected his decrees and the covenant he had made with their ancestors and the statutes he had warned them to keep. They followed worthless idols and themselves became worthless. They imitated the nations around them although the Lord had ordered them, "Do not do as they do."
