Neemias 9:17

17 Recusaram ouvir-te e não se lembraram das tuas maravilhas, que fizeste no meio deles. Foram teimosos e na sua rebelião escolheram um chefe, com o propósito de voltarem para a sua servidão no Egito. Porém tu, ó Deus perdoador, bondoso e compassivo, tardio em irar-te e grande em bondade, tu não os abandonaste,

17 and refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them, but hardened their neck, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage. But thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, and forsookest them not.
