II Samuel 24:21

21 E perguntou: - Por que o rei, meu senhor, vem até este seu servo? Davi respondeu: - Para comprar de você esta eira, a fim de edificar nela um altar ao Senhor, para que cesse a praga no meio do povo.

21 And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshing-floor of thee, to build an altar unto Jehovah, that the plague may be stayed from the people.
