II Samuel 23:17

17 E disse: - Longe de mim, ó Senhor, fazer tal coisa! Beberia eu o sangue dos homens que lá foram colocando em risco a sua vida? E assim não a quis beber. São estas as coisas que fizeram os três valentes.

17 And he said, Be it far from me, O Jehovah, that I should do this: [shall I drink] the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty men.
