15 Jeú saiu dali e encontrou Jonadabe, filho de Recabe, que vinha ao encontro dele. Jeú saudou-o e lhe perguntou: - Você tem o coração sincero para comigo, assim como o meu coração é sincero para com você? Jonadabe respondeu: - Tenho. Então Jeú disse: - Se é assim, me dê a sua mão. E Jonadabe deu-lhe a mão. Jeú o fez subir na sua carruagem

15 And when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him; and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thy heart right, as my heart is with thy heart? And Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be, give me thy hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot.
