8 Não confiarão mais nos altares que eles construíram, nem nas imagens que eles mesmos fizeram, nem nos postes da deusa Aserá, nem nos altares de queimar incenso.

8 They will not look to the altars, the work of their hands, and they will have no regard for the Asherah poles That is, wooden symbols of the goddess Asherah and the incense altars their fingers have made.
