II Tessalonicenses 2:13

13 Irmãos, sempre devemos dar graças a Deus por vocês, a quem o Senhor ama. Pois Deus os escolheu como os primeiros a serem salvos pelo poder do Espírito Santo e pela fé que vocês têm na verdade, a fim de tornar vocês o seu povo dedicado a ele.

13 But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits Some manuscripts [because from the beginning God chose you] to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.
