6 O rei Davi e os seus soldados foram atacar Jerusalém. Os jebuseus, que eram os moradores da cidade, pensaram que ele não seria capaz de conquistá-la e por isso disseram: - Você nunca entrará aqui. Para fazer você ficar do lado de fora, bastam os cegos e os aleijados.

6 The king and his men marched to Jerusalem to attack the Jebusites, who lived there. The Jebusites said to David, "You will not get in here; even the blind and the lame can ward you off." They thought, "David cannot get in here."
