17 Mas eles insistiram, até que ele mudou de ideia e deixou que fossem. Os cinquenta foram e durante três dias procuraram Elias por toda parte, porém não o acharam.

17 But they persisted until he was too embarrassed to refuse. So he said, "Send them." And they sent fifty men, who searched for three days but did not find him.
