55 Ele expulsou os moradores daquelas terras enquanto o seu povo avançava. Repartiu as terras entre as tribos de Israel e deixou que os israelitas morassem nas casas dos seus antigos moradores.

55 Driving out nations before them, marking out the line of their heritage, and giving the people of Israel their tents for a resting-place.
