9 O rei mandou que fossem comigo alguns oficiais do exército e uma tropa da cavalaria. Então eu viajei para a província do Eufrates-Oeste e ali entreguei aos governadores as cartas do rei.

9 Then I came to the rulers of the lands across the river and gave them the king's letters. Now the king had sent with me captains of the army and horsemen.
