55 Os chefes dos sacerdotes e todo o Conselho Superior estavam procurando encontrar alguma acusação contra Jesus a fim de o condenarem à morte. Mas não conseguiram nenhuma.

55 Now the chief priests and all the Sanhedrin were looking for witness against Jesus so that they might put him to death; and they were unable to get any.
