I Reis 2:15

15 E Adonias disse: - A senhora sabe que sou eu quem deveria ser o rei e que todos esperavam isso em Israel. Mas as coisas aconteceram de modo diferente, e o meu irmão se tornou rei porque essa era a vontade de Deus, o Senhor.

15 And he said, You saw how the kingdom was mine, and all Israel had the idea that I would be their king; but now the kingdom is turned about, and has become my brother's, for it was given to him by the Lord.
