12 Porém ela respondeu: - Juro pelo seu Deus vivo, o Senhor, que não tenho mais pão. Só tenho um punhado de farinha de trigo numa tigela e um pouco de azeite num jarro. Estou aqui catando uns dois pedaços de pau para cozinhar alguma coisa para mim e para o meu filho. Vamos comer e depois morreremos de fome.

12 Then she said, By the life of the Lord your God, I have nothing but a little meal in my store, and a drop of oil in the bottle; and now I am getting two sticks together so that I may go in and make it ready for me and my son, so that we may have a meal before our death.
