Números 35:25

25 O povo deverá proteger o homem que matou sem querer, não deixando que ele seja morto pelo parente do homem que morreu. O povo o fará voltar à cidade de refúgio para onde havia fugido, e ali o assassino ficará até a morte do Grande Sacerdote, que foi ungido com azeite sagrado.

25 and the congregation shall deliver the manslayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall dwell therein until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.
