5 mandou chamar Balaão, filho de Beor, que estava em Petor, perto do rio Eufrates, no território de Amave. Os mensageiros foram dizer o seguinte a Balaão: ´Um povo inteiro saiu do Egito, está espalhado por toda a terra e agora veio morar perto de mim.
