Neemias 9:17

17 Eles se recusaram a obedecer. Esqueceram tudo o que fizeste; esqueceram os milagres que havias feito. Em seu orgulho, eles escolheram um chefe que os levaria de volta ao Egito para serem escravos de novo. Mas tu és Deus que perdoa; tu és bondoso e amoroso e demoras a ficar irado. A tua misericórdia é grande, e por isso não os abandonaste.

17 and refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them, but hardened their neck, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage. But thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, and forsookest them not.
