I Samuel 14:24

24 Naquele dia os israelitas estavam fracos de fome porque Saul havia feito este juramento: ´Quem comer qualquer coisa hoje, antes de eu me vingar dos meus inimigos, será amaldiçoado.` Por isso, ninguém tinha comido nada o dia inteiro.

24 And the men of Israel were distressed that day; for Saul had adjured the people, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth any food until it be evening, and I be avenged on mine enemies. So none of the people tasted food.
