15 Again the Israelites cried out to the Lord, and he gave them a deliverer - Ehud, a left-handed man, the son of Gera the Benjamite. The Israelites sent him with tribute to Eglon king of Moab.

15 Mas, quando os israelitas pediram socorro ao Senhor, ele levantou um libertador para salvá-los. Chamava-se Eúde, homem canhoto, filho de Gera, da tribo de Benjamim. Os israelitas encarregaram Eúde de entregar o tributo a Eglom, rei de Moabe.
