I Samuel 7:12

12 Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, [Ebenezer] means [stone of help.] saying, "Thus far the Lord has helped us."

12 Então Samuel pegou uma pedra grande e a colocou entre as cidades de Mispá e Jesana. Deu à pedra o nome de Ebenézer, pois disse: ´Até aqui o Senhor nos ajudou!`.
