I Samuel 15:22

22 But Samuel replied: "Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.

22 Samuel, porém, respondeu: "Acaso tem o Senhor tanto prazer em holocaustos e em sacrifícios quanto em que se obedeça à sua palavra? A obediência é melhor do que o sacrifício, e a submissão é melhor do que a gordura de carneiros.
