24 Mephibosheth, Saul's grandson, also went down to meet the king. He had not taken care of his feet or trimmed his mustache or washed his clothes from the day the king left until the day he returned safely.

24 Também Mefibosete, neto de Saul, desceu a encontrar-se com o rei. Ele não tinha tratado dos pés, nem aparado a barba, nem lavado as roupas, desde o dia em que o rei tinha saído até o dia em que voltou em paz.
