26 As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus.

26 Então, o retiraram dali e enquanto o levavam, agarraram Simão de Cirene, que estava chegando do campo, e jogaram a trave da cruz sobre seus ombros, obrigando-o a carregá-la e caminhar atrás de Jesus.
