16 Meanwhile, the remainder of the Jews who were in the king's provinces also assembled to protect themselves and get relief from their enemies. They killed seventy-five thousand of them but did not lay their hands on the plunder.

16 Entrementes, os demais judeus que viviam nas províncias do império, da mesma forma se reuniram para se proteger e se livrar dos seus inimigos. E exterminaram setenta e cinco mil homens dos que os odiavam, mas não se apossaram de qualquer dos bens de seus inimigos.
