Ester 8:17

17 In every province and in every city to which the edict of the king came, there was joy and gladness among the Jews, with feasting and celebrating. And many people of other nationalities became Jews because fear of the Jews had seized them.

17 Em cada província e em cada cidade, onde quer que se anunciasse as ordens do decreto real, explodia entre os judeus grandes manifestações de contentamento, seguidas de animados banquetes e festas. Muitos gentios, pessoas que pertenciam a outros povos do reino, se tornaram judeus, pois o temor dos judeus tinha se apoderado deles.
