Esdras 7:6

6 this Ezra came up from Babylon. He was a teacher well versed in the Law of Moses, which the Lord, the God of Israel, had given. The king had granted him everything he asked, for the hand of the Lord his God was on him.

6 Este Esdras veio da Babilônia. Ele era escriba, isto é, mestre, e conhecia muito bem toda a Torá, Lei de Moisés, dada por Yahweh, o SENHOR Deus de Israel. Ele foi falar com o rei Artaxerxes, e este foi benevolente, dando-lhe tudo quanto solicitara, porquanto a mão do SENHOR estava sobre ele e abençoava as atitudes de Esdras.
