II Samuel 24:9

9 Joab reported the number of the fighting men to the king: In Israel there were eight hundred thousand able-bodied men who could handle a sword, and in Judah five hundred thousand.

9 Então Joabe apresentou ao rei o número obtido pelo recenseamento do povo: Israel contava naquela ocasião com oitocentos mil homens capazes para o serviço militar, e em Judá, mais quinhentos mil soldados.
