30 From the Hebronites: Hashabiah and his relatives - seventeen hundred able men - were responsible in Israel west of the Jordan for all the work of the Lord and for the king's service.

30 Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, seventeen hundred able men, were overseers of Israel on the other side of the Jordan, to the west, being responsible for all the work of the Lord's house and for the work done by the king's servants.
