7 So the five men left and came to Laish, where they saw that the people were living in safety, like the Sidonians, at peace and secure. And since their land lacked nothing, they were prosperous. 7 Então, foram-se aqueles cinco homens e vieram a Laís; e viram que o povo que havia no meio dela estava seguro, conforme o costume dos sidônios, quieto e confiado; nem havia possessor algum do reino que, por coisa alguma, envergonhasse a alguém naquela terra; também estavam longe dos sidônios e não tinham que fazer com ninguém.
