Êxodo 17:7

7 And he called the place Massah [Massah] means [testing.] and Meribah [Meribah] means [quarreling.] because the Israelites quarreled and because they tested the Lord saying, "Is the Lord among us or not?"

7 E chamou o nome daquele lugar Massá e Meribá, por causa da contenda dos filhos de Israel, e porque tentaram ao Senhor, dizendo: Está o Senhor no meio de nós, ou não?
