23 But his wife answered, "If the Lord had meant to kill us, he would not have accepted a burnt offering and grain offering from our hands, nor shown us all these things or now told us this."

23 Porém sua mulher lhe disse: Se o Senhor nos quisera matar, não aceitaria da nossa mão o holocausto e a oferta de manjares, nem nos mostraria tudo isto, nem nos deixaria ouvir tais cousas neste tempo.
