Ester 8:9

9 At once the royal secretaries were summoned - on the twenty-third day of the third month, the month of Sivan. They wrote out all Mordecai's orders to the Jews, and to the satraps, governors and nobles of the 127 provinces stretching from India to Cush. That is, the upper Nile region These orders were written in the script of each province and the language of each people and also to the Jews in their own script and language.

9 Então forão chamados os escrivaes do Rei naquelle mesmo tempo, e no mes terceiro (que he o mes de Sivan) aos vinte e tres do mesmo: e escreveose conforme a tudo quanto mandou Mordechai aos Judeos, como tambem aos Satrapas, e aos Governadores: e aos Maioraes das provincias, que se estendem da india até Ethiopia, cento e vinte e sete provincias, a cada provincia segundo sua escritura, e a cada povo conforme a sua lingoa: como tambem aos Judeos segundo sua escritura, e conforme a sua lingoa.
