14 Jair the son of Manasseh took all the region of Argob, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and called them, even Bashan, after his own name, Havvoth-jair, unto this day.)

14 Jair, um dos descendentes da tribo de Manassés, conquistou toda a região de Argobe, em Basã, até a fronteira com os gesuritas e maacatitas. Jair deu à região seu próprio nome, Cidades de Jair, pelo qual ela é conhecida até hoje.)
