Gênesis 38:18

18 And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet and thy cord, and thy staff that is in thy hand. And he gave them to her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him.

18 E ele questionou: ´Ora, que garantia queres que te deixe?` E a mulher prontamente lhe pediu: ´O teu selo com teu cordão, e o cajado que seguras!` Então Judá entregou os objetos solicitados e seguiu com ela. Tiveram relações sexuais e naquele mesmo dia ela engravidou de Judá.
