Daniel 8:12

12 And the host was given over [to it] together with the continual [burnt-offering] through transgression; and it cast down truth to the ground, and it did [its pleasure] and prospered.

12 Todas as honrarias foram prestadas a esse grande chifre; o próprio exército lhe foi entregue, juntamente com o holocausto diário, por causa do seu poder e a vitória da sua rebelião. O chifre tinha sucesso em tudo que empreendia, e a verdade e o direito foram lançados por terra.
