23 Contra Damasco. Envergonhou-se Hamate e Arpade, e, porquanto ouviram más novas, desmaiaram: no mar há angústia; não se pode sossegar.

23 Concerning Damascus: "Hamath and Arpad are dismayed, for they have heard bad news. They are disheartened, troubled like Hebrew [on] or [by] the restless sea.
