Jeremias 40:7

7 Ouvindo pois todos os príncipes dos exércitos, que estavam no campo, eles e os seus homens, que o rei de Babilônia tinha posto sobre a terra a Gedalias, filho de Aicão, e que lhe havia confiado os homens, e as mulheres, e os meninos, e os mais pobres da terra, que não foram levados cativos para Babilônia,

7 Now when it came to the ears of all the captains of the forces who were in the field, and their men, that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, ruler in the land, and had put under his care the men and women and children, all the poorest of the land, those who had not been taken away to Babylon;
