Convocai contra Babilônia a multidão dos que manejam o arco; acampai-vos contra ela em redor, e ninguém escape. Retribuí-lhe segundo a sua obra; conforme tudo o que fez, assim fazei a ela; porque se houve arrogantemente contra o Senhor, contra o Santo de Israel.

"Summon archers against Babylon, all those who draw the bow. Encamp all around her; let no one escape. Repay her for her deeds; do to her as she has done. For she has defied the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.
