Ester 9:2

2 porque os judeus, nas suas cidades, em todas as províncias do rei Assuero, se ajuntaram para dar cabo daqueles que lhes procuravam o mal; e ninguém podia resistir-lhes, porque o terror que inspiravam caiu sobre todos aqueles povos.

2 the Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them was fallen upon all the peoples.
