Deuteronômio 32:27

27 se eu não tivesse receado a provocação do inimigo, para que os seus adversários não se iludam, para que não digam: A nossa mão tem prevalecido, e não foi o Senhor quem fez tudo isto.

27 Were it not that I feared the provocation of the enemy, Lest their adversaries should judge amiss, Lest they should say, Our hand is exalted, And Jehovah hath not done all this.
