Daniel 1:5

5 E o Rei ordenou-lhes ração de cada dia, da porção do manjar do Rei, e do vinho de seus beberes; e que assim fossem criados tres annos: para que no fim delles assistissem perante a face do Rei.

5 The king assigned them a daily amount of food and wine from the king's table. They were to be trained for three years, and after that they were to enter the king's service.
