Deuteronômio 7:22

22 E Jehovah teu Deos lançará estas gentes pouco a pouco de diante de tua face: tam presto não poderas acabálas, para que as feras do campo se não multipliquem contra ti.

22 And Jehovah thy God will cast out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.
